The Gift of the Year 2020 competition will officially be launched at this year’s Home and Gift in Harrogate. The Giftware Association will be using the industry’s favourite show as a platform to launch the competition, now Its 42nd year.

This is the largest award in the gift and home industry, spanning 20 categories of giftware, homeware and personal fashion. Whether you attend major trade fairs or not, operate on a small or large scale, your best new products will be more than welcome.

Eligible products are those that will be available to market from February 2020 all the way to the end of the year. There is no longer any restriction on how old the product can be, but remember that if the judges have seen something before they may not vote for it a second time.

As ever there is no limit to how many products or categories you can enter, or how many categories you can put the same product into. Our panel of retailers, trade press and industry experts will judge each entry on its own commercial merits (and of course, the mysterious X-factor).
