Heart of the Country is proud to announce their partnership with the Royal British Legion on this centenary year of the Armistice with the launch of a limited edition scented sachet. This Autumn/Winter season Heart of the Country is looking to raise £36,500 for the Legion by selling 36,500 Greenleaf Painted Poppy large scented sachets. The target of 36,500 represents every single day that has passed since the end of the Great War on the 11th of November 1918.
Each large Greenleaf Painted Poppy sachet will bear the iconic poppy of the Royal British Legion and the Poppyscotland logo and donation information. Painted Poppy is Greenleaf’s new fragrance for Autumn/Winter 2018. It is a confident fragrance with a powerful boost of juicy mandarin, a floral heart and a base of warm musk and amber.
For every single sachet supplied at trade, Heart of the Country will donate one pound directly to the Royal British Legion. To achieve this donation Heart of the Country the distributor, will be sacrificing their margin. Greenleaf, the manufacturer have also generously supplied the sachets at a reduced cost to Heart of the Country. The final contribution is made by the retailer who will pay £0.25 extra per sachet taking the unit trade cost from £1.44 to £1.69. This final contribution means that £1.00 of the £1.69 of the total trade cost will go directly to the Royal British Legion. For sachets sold in Scotland the £1.00 donation will be directed to Poppyscotland, the Legions partner charity north of the border.
