Caroline Gardner’s Marylebone shop window has showcased the work of two future fashion stars.
The fashion collaboration has created buzz around the Caroline Gardner brand, with a positive knock-on effect for retail stockists of its card, stationery and gift products.
Caroline Gardner is always trying to think of eye-catching window displays and new ways to feature the company’s handbags and fashion accessories. After being invited to Graduate Fashion Week, Caroline Gardner previewed some of the collections and loved the bold use of clashing colours of Chloe Menzies’ collection. Caroline was also drawn to Chloe Whiting’s botanical, hand-drawn prints, for the way she had used colour and the abstract nature of the enlarged motifs.
Caroline commented: “We at Caroline Gardner are proud to support young, creative talent and offer these graduates an opportunity to showcase their designs away from university, in a commercial environment.”
Today’s graduates are the future of the creative industry, and no one knows better than Caroline—who started her business making greetings cards at her kitchen table—that everyone must start somewhere.
